Girls trip to Dallas this weekend! My bf had a bachelor party in Memphis, so I figured why be left out? Having a hard time deciding what to pack. The shoe dilemma took about an hour, but it came down to my great new JC's (posted previously), a pair of great black Forever platform booties that can we worn with anything, and my infamous Jessica Simpson sky-high monsters. Clothes are slowly getting worked out. Think I have enough pairs on lace shorts? Haha...that hook and eye singlet from Sophomore resting on top of the pile is the best basic I've ever owned, hands down. Other than that, I'm close to getting my bases covered: favorite wispy things, crochet, fringe, denim cutoffs, and all the proper things to wear underneath. We'll leave jewelry for after lunch...
P. Love Arrowhead, 4-tier skull, and Quartz Necklaces
In true graduation style, I received a lot of money from my loved ones. While Pamela Love dominates my current hardware rotation, one thing I am missing from her collections are necklaces. These are the three I'm looking to purchase with my newfound fortune. Figured that would hold me over until the A/W 2011 pieces were released. Or at least until next week...hmm. Better find that big girl job now.
Free People dress, Jeffrey Campbell boots, Cheap Monday necklace, and P. Love rings
Some shots from the last week or so. Dinner complete with wine, crayons, and my bf Daniel. First time I've gone out with my hair up in years. I love how the sunlight gave that third shot a celestial feel. Great finale weekend with great friends, I graduate college Friday. Both anxious and excited.
New purchases that have arrived in the last couple days. Both sets of boots are Jeffrey Campbell via Free People. The brown ones are just slouchy enough to fill the void of those great Topshop ones that sold out before I had time to react. The ring is a purchase that took months to decide, weeks backordering and has been worth every second. In person, it truly is amazing. Sixth piece of P. Love and counting. The black top describes my summer arsenal preferences perfectly, as do the shorts. They are by One Teaspoon. I still can't decide if it's the chambray material or the parisian feel the I can't get enough of. Maybe a couple rounds in them paired with a great vintage cutoff tee and I'll come to a conclusion.
My favorite looks from the new Stone Cold Fox 2011 Lookbook. The bells are gorgeous. See the rest here.
Love, love, LOVE this Cheap Monday necklace. It's got a good weight, tons of adjustable links and provides a unique counterpart to a choker. At only $20...I feel like I stole it. Get it at nastygal here.
